About the event
We will embark on an Authentic Exploration journey to the Florida Keys, where we will engage in an inspiring and re-igniting education professional development retreat related to meaningful ecological research centered around exploring the Florida Keys.
PARTNER EXPERIENCE
Educator participants will engage in experiential content provided by the Coral Restoration Foundation and MOTE Marine Laboratory, and Optional excursions to area enrichment sites. *
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
During the retreat, educators can collaborate within their group and craft individual case studies or lessons aligned with standards for direct integration into their classrooms. They will also explore innovative teaching approaches to engage better and connect with their students. Daily Reflections will follow to provide metrics on engagement and learning. Discussions will cover interdisciplinary methods, literacy, data collection, and classroom management, alongside pertinent insights into new AI-driven teaching methods, and computational thinking.
