Hello! We are one week closer to spring break! The team at Authentic Exploration Matters(AEM) has been working on some new ventures and updating existing resources. Next month, be on the lookout for a new Resource Roundup format that we hope will be a bit more streamlined. We are also working on the development of educator trips that may journey to places like Costa Rica, the Everglades, historical destinations, and more! As we work on the development of these travel opportunities, we would greatly appreciate your insights! We have an educator travel questionnaire for you to provide us with some guidance at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScd00_7KoszLO99RKZMb1juhne_6txxQDRvBOPy01scyO99hw/viewform?usp=dialog
This week, the Resource Roundup is highlighting the world of Ecology! As time progresses, the planet will continue to undergo changes. Through the study of ecology, students can gain a crucial understanding of how organisms interact with their environment. This help us make informed decisions, manage resources, protect biodiversity and human health as we comprehend the complex relationships within ecosystems.
Check out Arizona State University’s Ecology Explorers program that offers resources for K-12! Connect with the EPA EnviroAtlas Project. Discover the science of ecology with a loggerhead case study. Explore how technology and engineering are working to tackle topics such as pollution. Design a sustainable guest village and so much more!
