AEM Anthropology Resource Roundup

Updated: Jan 8

Autumn greetings from the team at Authentic Exploration Matters!  We are closely approaching the Thanksgiving break and as we do so, we hope you are all doing well.  Remember that we are hosting our next Leading Light Meetup on December 8, 2024 from 1-4pm at The Acre located at 4421 Edgewater Dr in Orlando, FL 32804.  This will be a time to connect with educators and build community!  We will also be enjoying a used book exchange. Simply wrap a used(or new) book creatively and bring to The Acre and we will exchange reads!  You can find more information in our Resource Roundup via the link provided below.

This week we are focusing on the world of Anthropology.  Ruth Benedict once said, “The purpose of anthropology is to make the world safe for human differences.”    Anthropology cultivates cultural awareness, critical thinking skills, and helps provide a deeper understanding of human diversity.  This week connect with resources that highlight opportunities such as the Junior Anthropology program, explore the Royal Anthropological Institute.  Become an environmental wayfarer. Delve into the science of forensic anthropology.  Learn about Anthroengineering and more!

You will notice that we have not included the .pdf files as we have done in the past.  In an effort to lower the “space” needed for the emails, we are trying a bit more simplistic option.  You will now access the Resource Roundup via the Canva link provided below or by visiting our website.  Let us know your thoughts on the preferred format!  Also, we are here to assist you.  If you are in need of resources, contacts, activities, and such; simply reach out and we will do our best to assist you!
