Happy New Year! The team at Authentic Exploration Matters hopes everyone had a restful and enjoyable winter break. For many, the start of a new year is also a time of reflection and renewal. So, this month we will reflect on what our AEM Educator Ambassadors have been up to and look at ways educators, students, and schoolwide communities can renew their excitement for engaging young minds and connecting with community. This week we will focus on ambassador updates and a Resource Roundup that highlights just a few educator opportunities that include in-person and virtual professional development opportunities. Get wet with the MarineLab, work alongside scientists to learn research trends, apply for the NatGeo Grosvenor Fellowship, explore the ocean with NOAA, participate in an aquatic species collection workshop, explore ways to elevate a growth mindset or how to unravel the physics of flight with FAU, learn how to obtain a free KSC pass, attend a UCF STEM educator workshop, find ways to apply for travel grants, and more!
