Data Colection

Here you will find data collection lessons and resources for grade K- 5

Data collection is one of the best ways to incorporate a multidisciplinary approach to teaching.  Information literacy, math, and writing skills each play a critical role within the data collection activity.  Students start by reading about a real world scenario that they begin to investigate.  Collecting data helps to provide a mathematical picture of the story.
